Mission:
To empower at-risk youth and economically disadvantaged adults by teaching them long-term skills necessary to acquire and retain ganful employment; meet the hiring critera of local employers; achieve economic and personal self-sufficiency, and contribute to their community in a positive manner.

Services:
Training programs in literacy, adult basic education, English-as-a-Second-Language, GED preparation, workplace skills and computer literacy; case management; job placement services.

Austin, Travis County and surrounding counties

Hours:
Main Center: 8:00 a.m.-9 p.m., Monday-Thursday; 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Friday; Georgian Manor location: 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., Monday-Friday; Annex location: 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., Moday-Friday.

Client Eligibility:
For GED preparation, clients must be 18 years of age or older and total household income must be at or below 200% of the federal poverty guideline. Clients who have their GED or diploma and are interested in computer or workforce training must be at least 17 years of age with a household income at or below 200% of the federal poverty guideline.

Fee Determinationn:
No cost to those who qualify.
