Mission:
To feed the hungry by providing food and grocery products to human services agencies serving people in need in Central Texas.
Services:
Weekly food distribution to more than 340 human and social service partner agencies in 21 counties, Kid's Café, Fresh Food for Families, Rural Food Delivery, Health Options Program for the Elderly (HOPE), Texas Fresh Approach, Perishable Food Rescue
Service Area:
Bastrop, Bell, Blanco, Burnet, Caldwell, Coryell, Falls, Fayette, Freestone, Gillespie, Hays, Lampasas, Lee, Limestone, Llano, McLennan, Milam, Mills, San Saba, Travis and Williamson counties
Hours:
8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday, until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday; 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. on Saturday
Client Eligibility:
Partner agencies must be classified by the IRS as a nonprofit, or must be affiliated with a church of an IRS-recognized denomination.
Fee Determinationn:
Partner agencies pay a "shared maintenance fee" of 0-12 cents per pound of food. Food recipients pay nothing.
