Mission:
To support families, employers, and communities by providing child care to school-aged children that is high in quality, convenient, affordable, and enriching.

Services:
On-site after-school and summer child care for school-aged children at 70 participating elementary schools.

Service Area:
Austin Independent School District, Del Valle ISD, Eanes ISD, Hays CISD

Hours:
Business Office: 8:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m., Monday-Friday. After-school care is offered from school dismissal to 6:00 p.m. (6:30 p.m. in Hays CISD) All-day care on student holidays is offered from 7:00 a.m.-6_00 p.m. (6:30 p.m. in Hays CISD).

Client Eligibility:
Children ages 5-12 who attend elementary school at a site where Extend-A-Care for Kids' services are provided.

Fee Determinationn:
Parents pay fees on a sliding fee scale based on income and family size. Children who qualify for free or reduced-price school lunches generally qualify for reduced fees.
